First Steps (0-4 years old) Team Member

One Sunday service per month
The First Steps and St Js Club team run the children's groups every week (except when we have all-age services). Two volunteers (English & Dutch) are needed for each group. The lessons and materials are prepared in advance and sent to you the week before. No experience of working with children is necessary. Interested? Attend a lesson to see if it's something for you.
For this role you will be required to follow online safeguarding training up to Foundations level. A safeguarding check will be performed by our Safeguarding Officer.

Help St James stay connected by creating warm, clear communication through our weekly email, website updates, and social media. Using simple tools like Mailchimp and Canva, you’ll play a key part in keeping our church informed, encouraged, and engaged.

Prayer ministry is offered during Holy Communion or after the Sunday service. In pairs members of the Prayer Ministry Team are very happy to pray with you.
For this role you will be required to follow online safeguarding training up to Foundations level. No safeguarding check is necessary.

Our new Hospitality Team is looking for help to setup church on Sundays: chairs, coffee, welcome. Are you able to arrive early (9.15ish), do you enjoy working in a team, and are you aware of the importance of coffee? Then this is for you!

We need people who can come in early on a Sunday (9.30ish) to set up the sound and video equipment: laptop, microphones, band equipment, etc. If you'd like to help but aren't sure you'd know what to do, then send us and message and we'll be happy to train you!
